Random Access Memory
Random Access Memory or RAM is volatile storage where data intended for use by the processor is stored. RAM is the quickest place to store data but this storage is non-permanent and lost on power cycle. As such Memory is critical in application hosting environments for caching files and maintaining databases indexes, which minimises the need to access slower disks and maximise the response and scaling of web applications.
Pipe Ten can help you optimise your web application infrastructure which includes a large focus on memory availability and usage.
