Health Information Trust Alliance

HITRUST is the Health Information Trust Alliance which produces a complementary and sometimes competing standard to HIPAA which is more specific about the delivery and assessment of similar standards. The HITRUST Common Security Framework takes influence from other standards such as ISO, NIST, PCI, and HIPAA.
