Hard Disk Drive

Hard Disk Drive or HDD is the medium used for storage of data which involves physically spinning platters of data and reading the magnetic data using a moving head, unlike SSD which has no moving parts.

Due to their lower cost and mature reliability Pipe Ten uses HDD extensively for bulk storage where cost efficiency is the primary goal.
