Stress Testing

Stress Testing as a component of Load Testing is simulation of traffic against an application beyond the normal or required level, sufficient to break the application or underlying infrastructure. It is the only reliable way to understand the maximum capability of any application and its underlying infrastructure, the only way to properly determine if your application will fail in the way you intend and likewise is recoverable from failure in automated and safe way.
