Qualified Security Assessor

A Qualified Security Assessor or QSA for short, is a person certified by Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council as being capable of auditing compliance to the Data Security Standards for the processing and/or storage of credit card data (PCI DSS). QSA must re-familiarise and re-certify annually to the latest PCI-DSS requirements. PA-QSA are QSA who are certified to audit Payment Applications.
