Power Supply Unit
A Power Supply Unit or PSU sits within a server and converts AC power from an outlet to the DC power required by a computers components. A server will typically have redundant power supplies to provide high availability for local failure of PSU and remote failure of specific power feed (A+B power).
Pipe Ten deploys dual PSU for redundancy to all of its storage focused capacity and the majority of its compute capacity.
