File Transfer Protocol

File Transfer Protocol or FTP is as the name suggests a protocol used to transfer files between locations. SFTP and FTPS combined SSL with FTP to provide increased security on what is otherwise a non-encrypted protocol.

SFTP or FTPS is one of many transfer protocols often offered as default by Pipe Ten.
