Common Address Redundancy Protocol

Common Address Redundancy Protocol or CARP is a network protocol useful to for multiple hosts on the same network to share the same IP address using failover redundancy. uCARP is the Linux version of CARP.

Pipe Ten commonly uses CARP in customer Firewalls and Load Balancers to provide High Availability.
