Application Programming Interface

Application Programming Interface or API is typically a software interface designed to be used by other software / without graphical interface and requiring prior knowledge of the input and output expected. Modern applications typically consists of multiple systems by multiple developers communicating and orchestrated via API.

Pipe Ten uses API extensively and supports its customers use inbound (customers hosting and providing their own API), outbound (customers using others API) and synchronously (both inbound and outbound).
